MC Galaxy’s Song ‘Shupe’ Gets Endorsed By The Cross River State Governor As The Official Calabar Carnival Theme Song

The year 2016 has been an amazing year for the Akwa Ibom born international superstar and the king of new dance and catchy phrase, Mc Galaxy.

From a series of international recognition, music collaborations, endorsements, colorful contents, and mega deals.

The Cross River state Governor Professor Ben Ayade, also known as the youngest Governor and salary master, has officially appointed Mc Galaxy’s song, ‘Shupe’ as the official anthem for the 2016 Calabar Carnival.

The multi-million naira project has been signed and sealed for official release.

Mc Galaxy’s song, ‘Shupe’, which was produced by Dj Coublon, mixed and mastered by Sele Bobo, went viral online after different celebrities danced and posted it, and also coupled with the #shupedancecompetion which saw two winners emerge with a cash price of N200,000 (1st Prize) and N100,000 (2nd prize).

Mc Galaxy dedicated the song to the Calabar state Governor Ben Ayade who has been consistent in promoting the African culture and heritage through different entertainment mediums like music, pageants, movies, various youth empowerment programmes and lots more.

Mc Galaxy featured his new artist, Feeling, on this new joint. The video will be shot both in Lagos and in Calabar.
