Minister For Sex Appointed In Spain

The Spanish Government has appointed its first ever Minister of Sex in order to help boost the nation’s declining population.

The Spanish government revealed that the move is aimed at getting citizens busy in between the sheets inn order to boost the drastically declining birth rates in the nation.

Reports indicate that Spain is faced with the problem of declining birth rates which according to reports places it among developing countries with the lowest index.

Announcing the new sex minister, Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy confirmed Edelmira Barreira as the country’s sex tsar.

Spain has been faced with population crisis as the nation continuously records fewer births compared to deaths.

Experts have however attributed the decline in birth rate among Spaniards to long working hours and the culture of eating late at night.

A Madrid IE Business school’s Rafael Puyol said: “They do not help with making a family. Then when a child arrives it is even worse.”

Spain in recent years has recorded further plunge in birth rates with data compared from 2008 till date indicating an 18 percent drop in frequency of births.
