Missing Policeman’s Body Turns Up With Eyes, Ears And Nose Gone

A policeman who had been declared missing in Benue State has been found dead with his eyes, ears and nose removed.
The policeman was one of Four policemen were declared missing after the Saturday night attack on Azege-Ayilamo community in Logo Local Government area of the state.

The police high command on Saturday said that suspected herdsmen had ambushed a patrol team at Azege-Ayilamo in Logo council area, where four policemen were abducted.

However, two of the missing policemen were allegedly rescued on Sunday.

A press statement signed by ASP Moses Yamu the command spokesman, in a press statement, expressed regret over the suspected murder of one of the remaining two missing policemen.

According to him, the retrieved body was found brutally mutilated, with the eyes, ears and the nose removed.

The command affirmed its dedication to ensuring the safety of lives and property in the state
