Native Doctor Arraigned After Man Dies When Bulletproof Charm Fails

The Katsina State Police Command has arraigned a traditional medicine seller, Usman Saidu, for criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide in the death of one Aliyu Yahuza.

According to reports, Yahuza, 27, had approached Saidu for a bulletproof charm which the traditional medicine seller provided in form of a concoction which Yahuza drank.

Yahuza reportedly provided himself to be shot at in order to test the efficacy of the bulletproof charm that he had drunk.

Saidu allegedly shot Yahuza in the chest with a dane gun, killing him instantly.

Saidu, 42, has been remanded in prison custody pending when his case will be heard by senior magistrate, Hajiya Falila Dikko on February 22.
