Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa recently arrested one Aminu Abdulkadir, aged 30, of Gidan Dubu in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital and Sani Musa, aged 25, for raping two minors, through homosexuality.
This was contained in a press statement made available to Crime & Security, by the State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Malam Muhammed Gidado Fari.
Malam Muhammed explained that the two suspects confessed to committing the crime on a number of occasions to many children in their areas.
He also maintained that Aminu Abdulkadir was arrested, after he left his victim in a bad condition in the resident he was living, while Sani Musa, who is a student of the Kuka-Uku Gagarawa, was arrested after he raped an underage boy in the town.
According to Sani Musa, he said he was introduced into the act by his senior colleague at Unity School, Ringim.
Malam Fari, however, added that the suspects and 11 others with different cases of sexual abuses of males and females children would be arranged before the court immediately after investigation, while calling on parents and guidance to be more vigilant on their wards and avoid street hawking, which is an easy way of exposing children to bad eggs.
