On air personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly called Daddy Freeze, an outspoken but rather controversial OAP who is known for taking constant jabs at Nigerian pastors and their ways of exploiting members has lashed out over the tithing system in the church.

The OAP took to his Instagram to say that no Nigerian prophet, Pastor or GO qualifies to receive tithes, as part of his #freethesheeple movement.

According to the eloquent broadcaster, Nigerian pastors are fraudsters. Freeze’s messages in the popular radio show are usually in contrast to that of supposed men of God who are to meant to “enlighten” people and to preach love, compassion and charity.

He schools his followers concerning paying of tithes in an Instagram post, it reads ;

No Nigerian prophet or pastor or GO qualifies to receive your tithes!

Tithes were only meant for the Levites, who were descendants of Levi son of Jacob and Leah no one else! These Levites are still around in Israel today.

Levites were not allowed to own anything not houses not land or cars and DEFINITELY NOT PRIVATE JETS!

The tithes were only paid once every 3 years in the year of the tithe Deut 14:27; NOT EVERY MONTH!

Only 10% of the tithe was meant for the temple Nehemiah 10:38 the rest was meant for the sick, homeless, strangers, widows and orphans NOT PASTORS!

Tithe was never money, IT WAS FOODSTUFF!

Tithe was meant to be eaten with our families in the house of God.

He continued by backing it up with the scriptures….

It is biblical to sell your tithe and buy beer and drink in the house of God. Deut 14:26

Deuteronomy 14:[22] “You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year. [23] Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.
[24] “Now when the LORD your God blesses you with a good harvest, the place of worship he chooses for his name to be honored might be too far for you to bring the tithe. [25] If so, you may sell the tithe portion of your crops and herds, put the money in a pouch, and go to the place the LORD your God has chosen. [26] When you arrive, you may use the money to buy any kind of food you want—cattle, sheep, goats, wine, beer or other alcoholic drink. Then feast there in the presence of the LORD your God and celebrate with your household. [27] And do not neglect the Levites in your town, for they will receive no allotment of land among you.
