The Edo State All Progressive Congress, APC, gubernatorial aspirant, Godwin Obaseki has stated that Agriculture will be one of the primary focus of his administration if elected into office.
Mr Godwin Obaseki took to his twitter page this morning to tweet his views on a sector that has received little or no attention from the government be it Federal or State.
According to him, his government will heavily, financially and technically increase the production of rubber.
He also disclosed his intention to boost rice production in Edo North which is part of the Rice Farming belt in Edo State.
Obaseki, as part of his campaign promises also went on to list the benefits of Agriculture, saying it wasn’t only an important occupation of the people but also a way of life, culture and custom.
The promises come ahead of the Edo gubernatorial elections which will take place on Wednesday, 28 September, 2016.
