OJ Simpson’s case may have suffered a major setback after he was caught by a correction officer masturbating in his prison cell.
Recall that the prison system strictly forbids the act and for this reason, the former athlete will be facing additional disciplinary hearing.
The former athlete who has been a model inmate until his latest run in was reportedly caught masturbating by a female correction officer in June.
Fears have however been expressed that the recent act may affect the former athlete’s parole hearing when he appears before the Nevada Department of Corrections Parole Board on Thursday.
A source who spoke to Dailymail said: “While it’s not the most serious charge to be written up for in prison, it’s serious enough that any potential parole date may be delayed or his parole denied all together.”
Despite the setback, most observers with keen interest in the case have expressed hopes that the former athlete will be granted parole by the four-man panel on July 20.
