Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has warned All Progressives Congress Members and leaders in the state against making it difficult for members of other Political Party that want to defect to APC.
In a statement by his media aide, Mr. Samuel Onwuemeodo, Okorocha said “Any APC leader or official, discouraging anybody or group from coming to join APC at any level in the state will be accused of anti-party activity. APC members must show in words and in action that the party is a new party; for the new Nigeria that must not stick to the old ways of doing things.”
Okorocha also advised that anyone that has faced this problem should go to the State Secretariat in Owerri.
