The former Olori of Ile-Ife, Wuraola Zaynab, has reacted to rumors of alleged infidelity and infertility circulating in the media following her rumored marriage crash to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan Adeyeye.

Recall that the Olori had some weeks ago denied the marriage crash allegation stating that there was no iota of truth to it.

Her earlier reaction comes after a source close to the palace revealed that she had been sent packing from the palace for alleged infidelity and ‘unspeakable’ offences which she committed.

The Palace source had further revealed that a new queen, from the Yoruba tribe is being prepared for the Ooni as he could not be without a wife.

In confirmation of her broken marriage which comes 17-months after the Ooni sought her hand in marriage at an event which held in Edo state, the former Olori took to her Instagram page to clear the air stating that “What I can confirm, is that the Ooni and I are no more.”

She proceeded in the official statement to attack the infidelity and infertility allegations as earlier report had linked her to a former Lebanese lover whom she dumped to be with the traditional ruler.

She wrote while addressing the allegations: “We have got to stop this culture of shaming and vilifying women with false stories of infidelity & nefarious behavior.”

She added while defending herself: “The spreading of false information (through “sources” afraid to be identified) is the mark of cowards and a cover up for guilty parties to justify their horrific actions. There is absolutely no truth to the media circulated lies of infidelity and infertility- on my end.”

She further went on to dump the Ooni’s name as she has since reverted to her maiden name on her social media page, regarding herself as Zaynab Otiti Obanor.
