One person has been confirmed dead, and 4 others were seriously injured after an accident occured at the Warewa bridge end of the Lagos-Ibadan express way.
According to reports, the accident involved a blue Toyota bus, with number plate, KTP 610 XA, a Honda CRV, with number plate, KJA 30 AE and a Toyota Jeep, with number plate, EKY 685.
Mr. Clement Oladele, Corps Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun state said the accident, which occurred around 6pm on Monday, was caused by careless driving.
“The injured victims were taken to the Lagos State Emergency Centre at the toll gate area in Ojota, and the vehicles towed out of the road to free the traffic. The dead has been deposited in a mortuary,” he added.
