The Osun Police have arrested two middle-aged men, Korede Ayofe and Jimoh Bello for allegedly being in possession of a human head.
The suspects, said to be undergoing interrogation at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), are now telling the police how they got the human head.
Ayofe and Bello allegedly committed crime at Iwo in Iwo Local Government Area of the state at the weekend.
The men were said to be armed with a sharp knife, a hoe and a motorcycle when they were intercepted by the police patrol team, who acted on a tip-off.
The suspects were reportedly running away before they were apprehended by the police at Owoyo area of the town.
Sources said the head found in their possession was already decomposing as bad odour oozed out of the container in their hands.
