Oyedepo Urges Nigerians to Urgently Pray for the Country to Overcome Challenges

General Overseer of the Living Faith Church (LFC), Bishop David Oyedepo has urged Nigerians to urgently pray for Nigeria to overcome the current challenges facing the country.

Oyedepo said this while speaking during the opening of the annual Winners Chapel Convention, Shiloh 2015, entitled “From Glory to Glory,’’ at Canaan land, Km 10, Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State.

He said “The implication of the convention is to bring everybody from all walks of life together and pray for the country.

“We will pray for God’s intervention in the countries that are in conflict; for God to restore peace and change the mind of the people.”

Oyedepo, before offering prayers for peace in the country emphasised that only prayers can heal any nation.

The 2015 Shiloh, the 17th edition, has delegates from more than 47 nations attending.

Some of the nations with delegates include Ghana, Kenya, Botswana, Congo, and South Africa.

Others include United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
