The executive governor of Anambra state, Willie Obiano stopped his convoy to come to the aid of an accident victim.
The victim, who was a woman in her 40s, had been knocked into a gutter by a Toyota Corolla along Adazi-Enu axis of Awka – Nnewi Road in Anambra state.
The woman lay in the gutter with no one to help till the governor came along. He stopped his convoy, alighted from the car and rushed to the woman’s aid.
He instructed his men to lift her out of the gutter and then call for help.
He stuck around till the ambulance came by and took the woman to the hospital for further treatment.
