The Selwoods have been branded the “worst family” in the UK after a string of offences confined all members of the family to varying terms in prison simultaneously.
Brothers Lee Selwood, 31, Jason Selwood, 33, and Darren Selwood, 34, and mother Lesley, 53 are all in various across the United Kingdom for various offences ranging from incessant violence, binge drinking to anti-social behaviour, Daily Mail reports.
The Selwoods of Tonbridge, Kent, were said to have terrorised neighbours for years until they were put behind bars for varying terms, and they will all be spending Christmas away in jail.
Darren was jailed last week for stabbing a friend with a steak knife; Lee and mother were jailed for 19 months for affray offences; and Jason is serving a six-month sentence for blowing up an ATM to steal £19,000. While the mother is serving time at the HMP Bronzefield in Staines, Surrey, the three sons are at Her Majesty’s pleasure on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, according to Daily Mail.
Their aunt, Teresa Cole, 51, said: “They are feral scumbags, scum of the earth.
“I hate them with a passion, they are animals.
“I’m delighted to see they are behind bars – Merry Christmas to them all.”
