The Nigeria Police has debunked rumours making the rounds that an explosion hit the Oworonshoki area of Lagos on Sunday.
According to the Deputy Force Public Relations Officer, Yomi Shogunle, the incident at Oworonshoki was a “minor fire incident due to fridge cylinder that caught fire at a shop.”
Shogunle who issued the statement on his official Twitter account, said no casualty was recorded.
He further said the men of the Lagos State Police Command were on ground at the spot to ensure peace and security of lives and property.
