A popular Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has according to reports been caught with two luxury cars belonging to the government.
The actor who was a staunch supporter of the former president of the country, John Mahama during the presidential campaign was reported to have been caught in possession of the two government owned vehicles one of which is a Toyota Land Cruiser V8.
Daily Gude reported that the car was discovered at a spraying shop in Accra where the car was taken for re-spraying.
The vehicle found in the actor’s possession is reported to be one of the 200 vehicles which went missing from the presidential fleet.
Reports indicated that the actor initially said the vehicle was gifted to him by the former first lady, Lordina Mahama. He was later reported to have changed his narrative claiming he bought the car himself.
The actor was reported to have handed over the vehicle upon confirmation of the chassis number match.
