Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has increased speculation that former manager Jose Mourinho could be set to return to Stamford Bridge this summer after buying him a £350,000 watch.
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has been heavily linked with a move back to Chelsea, as well as being tipped to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.
Apparently, the Blues have made the first move to re-sign the Portuguese coach, who is thought to have already agreed his summer exit from the Bernabeu with the Madrid hierarchy.
According to Spanish TV program Punto Pelota, Abramovich recently gave Mourinho a new watch worth €400,000, which equates to around £350,00.
The report also suggests that Chelsea’s senior players are well aware of the club’s talks with Mourinho, and are confident that he will replace interim boss Rafa Benitez next season.
