The former governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This is in relation to an alleged N700m received by the ex-Governor from former National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki.
The EFCC on their facebook page declared Omisore wanted stating that he has been elusive and also refused to report to the Commission after a friendly invitation was extended to him on April 7, 2016.
He instead went to a high court and demanded the enforcement of his human rights. Consequently, Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf ordered that Omisore was not to be arrested except through due legal process.
As such the EFCC did just that obtaining a warrant for his arrest.
