Tennis great, Serena Williams has reacted to the news which went viral regarding the sex of her baby.
According to reports, the Tennis great’s sister, also a tennis player, Venus had slipped in excitement after she refereed to the baby as a ‘she’.
Venus Williams has during a post-match interview at the French Open told Eurosport presenter: “She is going to call me favourite aunt.”
Following the slip, news went viral that the tennis star may be expecting a baby girl but in a turn of events, the ace tennis player has addressed the misconception in the media as she claimed no one knows the sex of her child.
Serena Williams while addressing the viral report took to her social media page on Twitter to reveal that not even her fiance knows the sex of their baby.
She wrote: “I think the surprise of knowing what you are going to have on that very special day you give birth is probably the best surprise you can ever have.”
“So to clarify what Venus said, I am always joking with my sisers to see what favors I can get them to do for me next.”
“If I want something from one of my sisters, I say baby Venus, baby Lyn or baby Isha needs it.”
“I did not grow up with any brothers, only sisters, and we all say ‘she’ more than ‘he’.”
“Unless I am joking with my Dad or Alexis, and I’m trying to con something out of them too.”
“Hey, I’m the youngest of 5, I’ve always tricked all of them, what can I say!”
