Two lecturers at the Delta State Polytechnic have received a light slap on the wrist after being caught red handed having extra-marital affairs with two fresh female entrants into the institution of higher learning.
The two lecturers and the female students (names withheld) were caught red handed in the act by the Rector of the polytechnic after he was tipped off to the nefarious activities of several members of the lecturer staff.
Investigations have unveiled that the sex for grades is a common practice in the DESPOTECH as in many other institutions across the country. The lecturers at DESPOTECH have been accused of being so brazen in their unquenchable desire for female laps that they openly solicit sex from the students they are supposed to be imparting knowledge upon.
Male students are not left out of the extortion and are made to pay the sum of N10,000 for decent grades.
The HERALD has gathered that the Rector of the university also recently expelled 22 students of the institution for Cultism and related activities. However the randy lecturers got off with a lighter sentence for what is arguably a more grievous crime.
