The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has once again aimed shots at the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration stating that his ascension into power was aided by the use of social media to brainwash the Nigerian youth.

The state governor who was denied a slot on the list of delegates appointed to visit the Nigerian president in the United Kingdom stated this in a statement released recently wherein he revealed that there is a master plot to overthrow the president from office.

Ayodele Fayose while speaking at the 13th Convocation Lecture of the Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, revealed his plans to actualize his presidential ambition stating that “something would give way for him to become the country’s President in 2019.”

Fayose who has been a staunch critic of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration further added while speaking on the theme: “Education and Actualisation”, that he vowed never to cross carpet to the All Progressive Congress, APC, adding that he would continue to play his politics right until he gets his ambition fulfilled.

Ayo Fayose during his speech added that the APC brainwashed Nigerians especially the youth to vote for Buhari adding that Nigerians were made to vote “for a President they never knew.”

Fayose further accused the APC-led government of politicizing the anti-corruption campaign stating that the “actual thieves are in Buhari’s government.”

Stating that Buhari has achieved nothing thus far in the educational sector, the Ekiti state governor added: “teachers remain the only solution to the revival of education. Education is currently at its lowest ebb in Nigeria.

“It is carnality that makes you look at me and think I cannot be President. I am the man to watch in this generation. I surely will become the President. Something has to give way for you to manifest.”
