A student of Ebonyi State University was beaten up by her boyfriend over a misunderstanding between the lovers.
The video, which has gone viral, shows the young man pounding the lady while holding down her hair.
The young lady, who cried and pleaded with him to stop hurting her, was later rescued by her lodge mates after he refused to stop the beating.
The shocking incident, which happened in the Ishieke campus of the university in Abakiliki, was filmed by her lodge mates.

A lot of criticism has followed the video as some have termed the act a show of dominance which has resulted in physical abuse of the weaker sex.
