News making the rounds online indicated that Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West had threatened to beat up his fellow colleague and wife of APC chieftain Bola Tinubu, Senator Remi Tinubu.
The story was carried by a popular online news agency and had caused an outrage at what such a move would represent.
Apparently Melaye did not find it funny as he took to his Twitter page to debunk the claim and express dismay at the antics of the news carrier.
