Trump Sends US Diplomats To Africa, Claims to “Deeply Respect” African Nations

In a turnaround from Trump’s s***thole comments referring to underdeveloped countries like Nigeria, a few weeks ago. Trump has said the United States has a commitment to “Strong and respectful relationships with African nations” and “Deeply respects” them.

The US Plans to send its top diplomats to Africa, Trump wrote in a letter last week to African leaders.

“I want to underscore that the United States deeply respects the people of Africa, and my commitment to strong and my commitment to strong and respectful relationships with African nations as sovereign nations is firm.

Our soldiers are fighting side by side to defeat terrorists, we are working together to increase free, fair and reciprocal trade.”

Although information about the letter was not released to the public. The Letter was verified however a diplomat with the US delegation to the AU, Chris Meade.

Meade himself declined to talk about its contents, but another Au source has certified the accuracy of the letter.

In response to the outrage on social media of people of when earlier this month in a meeting on immigration he demanded to know why the US should accept citizens from “s***thole countries.”

Trump replied on Twitter “The language used by me… was tough. but this was not the language used.”

In the letter, Trump writes that he’s looking forward to “welcoming many of you to the White House.” It also indicated that Rex Tillerson the Secretary of State would be making “an extended visit” in March.
