Speaking at the free screening of Tunde Kelani’s latest movie Dazzling Mirage at the Silverbird Cinemas, Lagos, Nollywood actress and AMAA nominee, Kemi Lala Akindoju revealed that she owes the veteran movie filmmaker a lot of gratitude for having confidence in her by giving her first lead role in a full length movie.
She said: “Dazzling Mirage is my first lead role in a movie and I think I owe Tunde Kelani a lot for taking a big risk using me as against more popular faces. TK took a big risk and today, he has made me a star.”
Kemi is also nominated for Best Young/Promising actor at the 2015 Africa Movie Academy Award.
