Turkish Suicide bomb blast claims 34 lives, 125 injured

Sunday evening, Ankara, the Turkish capital was rocked by a car bombing which has claimed at least 34 persons life and left several many feared to be around 125 persons wounded.

The car bombing, said to be a suicide action was confirmed by the Turkish Health Minister.

The health minister added that one or two of the persons feared dead were the perpetrators of the attack.

The injured individuals have been taken to the hospital for medical attention. 19 of the 125 injured sustained fatal injuries from the attack and are in serious condition.

The suicide bombing occurred close to a bus station near a park at the Turkish capital’s main square, Kizla.

A Turkish security official revealed that no organisation has yet claimed responsibility for the attack but preliminary investigations into the attack suggests that it was carried out by the Kurdish PKK militant group or an affiliate.

According to the Turkish Interior Minister, full fledged Investigation into the attack will be finished on Monday.
