Almost in a similar fashion, the Arsenal U-19 replicated the victory the senior team secured over the Bavarian giants during Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League, over the Bayern U-19 side on Wednesday.

Nigerian youngster, Alex Iwobi who was the hero of the day for Arsenal U-19 side as his two goals sealed a 2-0 victory against Bayern Munich’s U-19s team in a UEFA Youth League clash has described the victory as ‘convincing’.

After a goalless first half, Iwobi opened scoring in the 73rd minute, and made it 2-0 for Arsenal U-19s when he struck again in the 78th minute of the encounter.

“Positive result against BayernMunich19s onto the next one, a convincing win,” Iwobi posted on twitter.

The player however went into the referee’s book in the 81st minute after an altercation with Bayern’s Friedl.

Iwobi featured for the first team of Arsenal during their tour of Asia and the Emirates Cup which brought his massive potential to limelight before his inclusion in a League Cup squad that played against Tottenham last month.

He also made his debut for the Super Eagles in their international friendly games against DR Congo and Cameroon in Belgium this month.
