Video: Rick Ross Running Scared, Cancels Show in North Carolina

1 Min Read

The Maybach Music master announced that he’d be canceling two scheduled shows in the Tar Heel State after a gang known as the Gangster Disciples released a video threatening to harm Ross and his MMG crew. Meek Mill, Wale, and Machine Gun Kelly were also on the bill for the North Carolina shows.

The GD organization, which is based in Chicago, have been “banning” Ross from a number of states ever since he referenced the gang’s jailed leader Larry Hoover in the song “Blowing Money Fast.” In the track, Ross raps, ”I think I’m Big Meech, Larry Hoover/Whipping work, hallelujah/One nation under God/Real n—-s getting money from the f–king start.”

Ross, however, is blaiming “promoters” for the cancelled shows. As he wrote in a tweet:

North Carolina I wuz so excited to perform tomorro wit #MMG Promoters cancelled show but I’ll be Back ASAP. #luv

He is also said to have incurred the wrath of the deadly street thugs by using the Star of David on his Black Bar Mitzvah Mixtape cover. The star is also the logo for the street gang.

The gangsters sent The Boss crooner a video threat.
