Manchester United Player and England’s football legend, Wayne Rooney has just donated £100,000 through his foundation to families affected by the Manchester bomb which occurred on Monday night.

Recall that the blast was reported to have killed over twenty persons and left over 50 persons injured.

The attack which was carried out by a man known as Salman Abedi rocked the Manchester arena on Monday night after a concert organised by American singer, Ariana Grande.

Speaking on the donation, 31-year-old Wayne Rooney said: “my heart goes out all those affected. There are moments in life that instantly affect you and stop you in your tracks. Monday night was one of those occasions. Like so many others, I have enjoyed great nights at the arena, often with my family. As a father, I am horrified that a night out for so many young people could end so tragically.”
