2016 edition of Genevieve beauty awards set to hold in May

The 2016 edition of “Genevieve Beauty Awards is set to hold in May.

The awards was established by Nollywood star and one of Nigeria’s top most celebrity, Genevieve Nnaji.

The aim was to create awareness that would help to reinforce and celebrate the beauty and wellness industry in Africa as a market that could impact the economy and society positively.

The awards was also a way to highlight the growing industry, its achievements and successes by providing beauty entrepreneurs with the chance to be awarded a grant of 5,000 pounds.

The grant is sponsored by the Cointreau Creative Crew and it is intended to support the winner to continue developing their beauty venture.

The award categories as well as criteria for nominations are dedicated to representing talents, innovative brands and products in the beauty and wellness market.

The various categories for the beauty awards include; Beauty entrepreneur of the Year, Best make up artist, Product of the year (foreign & indigenous) – skin, hair, make up, and Best natural product, skin and hair.

Other categories are; Best Spa, Most promising act or emerging beautician, Best hair saloon, Best nail saloon, Best beauty blogger, Beauty campaign of the year, Online Beauty Retailer, and Beauty store of the year.

The rest are; Best hair stylist, Ageless beauty award, and Lifetime achievement award.

Nomination of awards in these categories can be done in any of Genevieve’s website.
