Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode may have made his choice among the presidential aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the October 5 presidential primary of the party.

Fani-Kayode took to his verified Twitter handle on Saturday morning to praise former Kano Governor and PDP presidential aspirant, Sen. Rab’iu Musa Kwankwaso to the highest heavens.

To win the party’s ticket, Kwankwaso will battle former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar; Senate President Bukola Saraki; former Senate President David Mark; Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, and a host of others.

According to the vocal ex-minister, Kwankwaso, who currently represents Kano Central senatorial district in the National Assembly, has what it takes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election.

Fani-Kayode further described Kwankwaso, who leads the immensely popular Kwankwasiyya Movement, as “a profoundly good man with a solid support base and he is a real fighter”.

He said, “I listened to my friend and brother Senator Rab’iu Musa Kwankwaso on Channels Television yesterday and I was impressed. He spoke well. He has what it takes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari hands down. I know him well. He is a profoundly good man with a solid support base and he is a real fighter.”

Recall that Fani-Kayode had on August 30 urged the PDP to take note of Kwankwaso’s mammoth support base when he nearly brought Abuja to a standstill at the declaration of his presidential ambition.

Fani-Kayode said at the time, The crowd that @RabiuKwankwaso pulled in Abuja yesterday was massive and unprecedented. He brought the city to a standstill with a sea of Kwankwassiya red caps. Few have his fanatical support base. The truth is that the @OfficialPDPNig needs Kwankwaso as much as he needs them.”
