Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has endorsed the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Sanwo-Olu ahead of the 2019 governorship election in Lagos.
Otedola, the son of a former Lagos governor, endorsed Sanwo-Olu when the latter had dinner at the billionaire’s Lagos home on Friday.
The Chairman of Forte Oil described Sanwo-Olu as his “childhood friend” and “governor-in-waiting”.
Taking to his Instagram page, Otedola said, “Dinner at my residence yesterday evening, with my childhood friend APC Governorship Candidate @JideSanwoOlu. GOVERNOR IN WAITING! 🤝 … F.Ote💲 #Lagos2019 #NextGovernorofLagos”

An indigene of Epe like incumbent Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Otedola was touted to be eyeing the governorship seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in May.
Otedola, who was on vacation at the time, quickly debunked the rumour.
