The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has attacked the presidential candidate of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria (ACPN), Obiageli Ezekwesili, over a “secret meeting” she had with former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida.
The meeting which held at the retired general’s hilltop home in Minna, Niger State on Sunday was “about the future of Nigeria and the 2019 elections,” a spokesman for her campaign, who declined to give further details, was quoted as saying by TheCable.
But the outspoken Sowore took to Twitter to query Ezekwesili’s motive for the visit to Babangida, whom he described as “Godfather Of corruption and bad governance”.
He said Ezekwesili could not be condemning the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for misgovernance on one hand and visiting Babangida on the other.
