Titi Abubakar, the first wife of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has set tongues wagging on social media after she appeared to endorse the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 presidential election.

In a video circulating on social media, the PDP flagbearer’s wife, while addressing some supporters, said, “That 25th of February (2023), everybody should come. If you have not collected your PVC, go and collect your PVC, get it ready 25th of February, we should vote APC.”

The PDP candidate’s wife’s apparent gaffe mirrored that of the presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who committed the infamous PDAPC gaffe during his presidential campaign flag-off at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, Plateau State in November.

Many Nigerians, including APC supporters, took to Twitter on Saturday evening to mock Titi Abubakar over the comment.

However, a socio-political commentator, Ayokunle Odekunle urged APC supporters to worry about their own candidate, Tinubu, instead of the PDP flagbearer’s wife.
