2023 presidency: Oshiomhole’s mother, Edo North elders back Osinbajo

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been assured of support should he decide to vie for the 2023 presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Hajia Aishietu, mother of former APC National Chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, and other elders in Edo North pledged to support Osinbajo for his dutiful service to the country, loyalty to the President, and for honouring the people of Edo North.

The Edo North elders pledged their support for Osinbajo who was Special Guest of Honour when the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, was honoured with a title as the “Lion of Auchi Kingdom” by the Otaru of Auchi, Alhaji Aliru Momoh.

The Edo North elders hailed Osinbajo for his presence, noting that it further demonstrated his love for the people of the area and display of his progressive politics focused on harnessing the collective strength of the Nigerian people for inclusive growth and development.

They assured him of their support as he continues to work for the good of Nigeria and her people.

Some dignitaries at the event include Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed, and Transport Minister Rotimi Ameachi, among others.
