The group known as “Abubakar Bukola Saraki Contact and Advocacy Council” has Prof. Iyorwuese Hagher as its chairman.

“Today, we are in Yola to advocate support for Bukola Saraki’s presidential ambition. He is physically fit, intelligent and stronger to be next president of Nigeria.

“Saraki is a global man who understands how global economy and power stand and through his experience, he will make Nigeria a great country in the world.

“Also, he is gender-sensitive and first governor in Nigeria that made one third of his commissioners to be women,” Hagher said.

Responding, Mr Tahir Shehu, Adamawa PDP Chairman, said that the party was highly delighted for the courage exhibited by Saraki to reach out to the people of Adamawa who already have their own, Atiku Abubakar in the race.

Shehu said PDP remained the party to beat in view of the quality of aspirants who have so far declared intention to contest for the president in the party.

According to him, PDP has competent and presentable candidates to fill in and has no fear of any political party in the country
