Former Governor of old Anambra State, Chukwuemeka Ezeife says Ndigbo will beg other zones on its knees if it becomes the only condition to achieve South-East presidency in 2023.

He spoke Monday in Awka, the state capital, during the launch of Global Movement for President of Igbo extraction in 2023.

The project initiated to ensure an Igbo man emerges president after President Muhammadu Buhari was conceived by one Kennedy Iyere.

Ezeife said it was regrettable that the South-East was the only zone yet to produce the president since return to democratic rule in 1999.
