Celebrity journalist, Dele Momodo says he wants to be president in 2023 because he is “the best, most prepared aspirant” to turn Nigeria’s fortunes around.
He stated this Thursday when he met with the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Iyorchia Ayu to declare his interest in the nation’s top job.
Momodu enjoined the party leadership not to be hasty in choosing its presidential flagbearer in 2023.
According to him, the election would be a great opportunity to warm its way into the heart of Nigerians in its bid to reposition the nation.
The Ovation publisher appealed to Nigerians not to give in to money-bags whom he said have done more harm than good.
He also vowed not to be intimidated by any aspirant, irrespective of their financial clout.
