24 ships laden with petroleum products, food items to arrive Lagos Ports

Twenty-four ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island Ports in Lagos as from March 27.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) made this known in its publication – “Shipping Position’’ made available on Monday to newsmen in Lagos.

NPA said that the 24 ships contained buck wheat, general cargoes, steel products, diesel, crude palm olein, soya bulk corn, base oil, frozen fish, petrol, bulk corn, empty containers and containers laden with goods.

It said that five other ships laden with bulk fertiliser, crude palm olein and petrol were waiting to berth at the ports.

 

 

NPA said that 17 other ships were already discharging empty containers, bulk wheat, containers, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, bag rice, soya bean, bulk fertiliser, bulk sugar, containers and petrol. (NAN)
