The Police in Nigeria have arrested on Garba Yakubu, for allegedly attempting to rape a seven-year-old girl in a kitchen.
The incident occurred on March 16, 2019, opposite the Central Mosque, Kuta Road Minna.
The 29-year old suspect was arrested by a team of policemen attached to the ‘A’ Division following a tip-off.
He was said to have lured the victim into the kitchen, tore her pants and pulled out his manhood in order to have sex with her but stopped when he heard the footsteps of the girl’s uncle, Abbas.

It was revealed that the suspect noticed that the uncle was coming to the kitchen, he quickly pulled up his trousers and pretended that he was looking for something.
The victim’s uncle reportedly met her lying naked on the floor and she narrated how Yakubu allegedly wanted to have sex with her.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, said the suspect had confessed to the crime during interrogation, adding that he had been charged to court.
