The abduction of ‘300 schoolgirls’ at Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata-Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State has set tongues wagging on social media.
In the early Friday attack, gunmen suspected to be bandits reportedly invaded the school in Toyota Hilux vehicles and motorcycles and operated for several hours unchallenged before whisking the victims to an undisclosed location.
The Jangebe abduction came barely nine days after 27 students of Government Science College (GSC), Kagara in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State were abducted in their school.
They remain in captivity in spite of the Federal and state governments’ assurances to secure their release.

Days after the govt agreed to pay N800million to bandits, they've kidnapped 300 school girls in Zamfara and demanding money again? Loool.
The caption should be "The Nigerian govt demands ransom from the Nigerian govt after kidnapping school girls in Zamfara".

So another 300 girls abducted in Zamfara state. Shekau and his boys keep having a 'trade by barter' marketing strategy since the govt is in partnership with them. I won't be surprise if this trade by barter business keep going. A messed govt in a messed nation. pic.twitter.com/NXB7gvOMDD

Many Nigerians suggested that these terrorists shouldn't be compensated. But the Govt and Gumi were in the support of the opposite, giving them sweet names.
Now we have witnessed kidnapping in Zamfara, Niger, Kastina, Taraba, Ibadan, Ogun and Ondo all in a week. Fantabulous! pic.twitter.com/haybDqm9c0
