Why Omoni Oboli Cancelled Premiere Of Okafor’s Law

Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli has reportedly cancelled the premiere of her new much-expected movie, Okafor’s Law.

Recall that the actress was in September 2016 slammed with a lawsuit which claimed she stole the story line portrayed in the movie along with an infringement suit for the choice of the movie title.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Idada revealed to TNS that Omoni Oboli copied his concept an idea to make her debut as a director in the “Being Mrs Elliott” movie.

The actress and producer who had maintained silence through the storm had went on to release dates for the movie premier and its official release which was set for Mach 31.

However, with the matter in court, an injunction has been issued which prevents the premiere and release of the movie until the case which names Omoni Oboli along with Dioni Visions and Filmone Distribution as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Defendants respectively is settled.

In light of the development, Omoni Oboli has called off the premiere of the movie.
