The men of the Nigerian Police have arrested a total of 42 homosexuals.
The 42 men were reported to have been arrested by operatives of the police force at one Vincent Hotel located at Weigh Bridge in Owode Onirin, Lagos State.
The sting operation leading to the arrest of the men suspected to be involved in homosexual activities was carried out on Saturday leading to the close down of activities at the hotel.
Speaking on the raid, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the arrest of the men adding that the arrested suspects have been handed over to the state task force for prosecution.
The latest raid comes on the heels of a report which stated that homosexual activities in the country is on the increase.
