You have got to be really careful with your devices. These apps from the Google store have hidden malware that can affect your PC.
In a report from LincolnshireLive, these apps affect your Windows PC when your phone is plugged to it as it mines private data.
Interestingly, the malware doesn’t actually affect your phone.
An infected PC with any of these Google store apps, is in danger if credit card numbers, passwords and social security numbers are entered as the malware saves keystrokes.
The apps are no longer on the Google store, but they might still be on people’s phones and the apps would have been downloaded since October of 2017.
Google has been notified of the flaw by Palo Alto Networks.
It is advisable that anyone who has these apps on their phone should delete them immediately.
