Monalisa Perez who lives in Minnesota and boyfriend Pedro Ruiz recorded a dangerous stunt on YouTube which led to the death of Pedro Ruiz.
Perez, 20, a mother of two and her boyfriend, 22 recorded a stunt in June on their YouTube Channel where Perez tried out an experiment which involved shooting Ruiz with a .45 Desert Eagle with only an Encyclopedia as a shield.
Convinced that the book would shield him from the bullet, Perez pulled the trigger, but things went wrong as the bullet pierced through the book and hit Ruiz killing him
However, Perez has pleaded guilty to a second degree manslaughter and has agreed to serve three months in jail in one-month increments over three years, and then serve the other three months under house arrest.
She would be formally sentenced in February.
