In what is being termed the biggest mass shooting in America’s history and the second worst attack since 9/11, 50 People lost their lives and another 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire.
The scene was a Nightclub called Pulse in Orlando, Florida.
The shooter has been identified as Omar Mateen of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mateen was later shot and Killed by Orlando police.
According to the CNN, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said early Sunday “It appears he was organized and well-prepared”
The shooter was armed with an assault-type weapon, a handgun and “some type of (other) device.
This has again flared the debate on gun control in America and hate crime as the club was a gay club.
People on social media are outraged as there are more and more calls for the banning of guns and a abolishment of the second amendment.
