A 52-year-old father, identified as Noel Davies has admitted to the police that he serially raped his 12-year-old daughter out of foolishness.
Reports had been earlier gathered that the 52-year-old was a staff of ICT department of Ekiti State University pleaded for forgiveness. He said his wife sometimes got to know of the incident but it was resolved and concealed in the family.
The 12-year-old rape victim had narrated the story of how the abuse started a few years ago, when her father told her about how special she was, and soon started caressing her breast for some months before he began to have carnal sex with her.

Police spokesman DSP Caleb Ikechukwu David said, “The suspect had been having unlawful carnal knowledge of his biological daughter of 12 years for over three years,”
