6 exotic cars, laptops, mobile phones recovered as EFCC bust suspected Yahoo boys in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has said its operatives have arrested 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

In a statement, the anti-graft agency said that the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, 18 October during a sting operation at the River Park Estate, Lugbe, Abuja, after credible intelligence on their alleged criminal activities.

The suspects were identified as Ameh Sunday, Emanuel Akorede, Olamide Abdulwasiu Abdullahi, Akinola Samuel, Segun George, Adaka Joseph and Odaka Desmond.

Others are Timilehin Adegbola, Atowodu Olaoluwa, Abiodun Samuel, Martins Richard, Pabor Nathan Austen, Israel Kue, Ezeobi Francis and Mpokor Emmanuel.

The EFCC said items recovered from the suspects included six exotic cars, Laptops and mobile phones.

“They will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded,” the commission said.
