69 Students Expelled From LASU over Cultism, Exam Malpractices

The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced the expulsion of 69 students over their involvement in cultism, examination malpractices and other indiscretions during examinations within the school premises.

According to The Vanguard, the  information was circulated through the Official Bulletin published by the Centre For Information, Press & Public Relations of The Vice Chancellor’s Office on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

21 of the 69 students who were expelled had used fake dockets to attempt to take the exams.

Another 15 were said to be in their final year at LASU.

This move comes shortly after 25 students were suspended for various offences pending their appearances before the constituted panels.
